DRC REMED REPORT
2019년 7월 1일REMED is an organization in DR Congo that the Korean Council supports through Butterfly Fund, which support the victims of wartime sexual violence. REMED has provided sewing training for the survivors, and recently held a ceremony to celebrate the survivors who finished their training in cutting and sewing.

CEREMONY OF PRESENTATION OF CERTIFICATES TO MAMA USHIRIKA/DRC AFTER
THEIR TRAINING IN CUTTING AND SEWING
Dear partners we are happy to share with you this greatest and
historical day for mama ushirika /DRCONGO.
Out of 63 ushirika women who participated to this training, 51 women
succeeded to the examination and 12 failed because of illiteracy; this
give the percentage of 80,9℅ of success and 19,1℅ of failure
They have received their certificates in front of different
authorities of Goma city, like the MAYOR of Goma, the mayors of
municipalities, the division of Gender and Family ,the division of
Youth,and many other organisations who are concerned with the women
right in North Kivu province .
All have appreciated this ceremony and have encouraged the KOREAN
COUNCIL AND BUTTERFLY FUND who support mama ushirika in all their
activities.
