DR Congo survivors stand together with 1400th Wednesday Demonstration & 7th Intl. Memorial Day for Japanese Military "Comfort Women"
2019년 8월 16일REMED, an organization in DR Congo, and Ushirika, a initiative for survivors of wartime sexual violence in DR Congo, organized an event to commemorate the Japanese military sexual slavery victims for the 1400th Wednesday Demonstration & 7th International Memorial Day for Japanese Military “Comfort Women” on August 14th 2019.

The 1400th Wednesday ceremony for mama ushirika /REMED/DRC
80 mama women of North Kivu in the DRC, gathered in the group Mama
USHIRIKA within the organization REMED partner of BUTTERFLY FUND, a
South Korean organization, We are joined today on 8/14 to South Korean
women who had suffered terrible horrors of sexual violence, rape,
sexual slavery during World War II by the Japanese army .With prayers,
massages against violence, history about Japanese military abuses, and
with compassion to Korean women victims of the rapes by japanese army.
For this day of August 14, 2019, we once again beg to our God to
awaken awareness of Japanese president and government to apologize and
recognize this crime against humanity and repair the damage committed
against these South Korean women.
