REMED is an organization in DR Congo that the Korean Council supports through Butterfly Fund, which support the victims of wartime sexual violence. REMED has provided sewing training for the survivors, and recently held a ceremony to celebrate the survivors who finished their training in cutting and sewing.

REMED, an organization in DR Congo that the Korean Council supports through Butterfly Fund has built a training center for the victims called “Centre d’encadrement des femmes et filles victime dela violence." On January 11th, the first sewing machine training was attended by 63 trainees who were girl-mothers (girls who became pregnant and gave birth due to sexual violence by the armed rebel groups)
